Santamadre UNUSUAL FUEL · 1:1 ratio · Performance without limits

Santamadre UNUSUAL FUEL is an advanced formulation for athletes who require exceptionally high carbohydrate availability. It provides 100 g of carbohydrates and 500 mg of sodium in 500 ml, allowing intakes more than 100 g h⁻¹ with a 1:1 glucose:fructose ratio.

Developed from field experience with our ultra-endurance athletes and physiological measurements under real race conditions, cyclists have sustained intakes above 150 g h⁻¹ and trail runners above 100 g h⁻¹ without gastrointestinal issues. The 1:1 ratio maximises coordinated use of SGLUT1 and GLUT5 transporters, expanding absorption capacity and delaying fatigue.

Intended for very long-duration events and for athletes who have trained high-carbohydrate strategies.

Santamadre UNUSUAL FUEL is gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan-friendly. Available in neutral and light-lemon flavours, both designed to remain light and pleasant even after hours of effort.

You can use our free app, it will guide you on when and how to use it.
