LACTATE 60.
A gel that combines 40 g of carbohydrates in a 1:1 ratio with 60 millimoles of lactate, introducing a new nutritional strategy for endurance sports. It doesn’t replace carbohydrates. It complements them. Because the future of performance is not simply about delivering more energy, but about better understanding how the body’s metabolism responds when it is working close to its limits.
Its development is the result of months of research into the role of lactate in performance, hundreds of hours of testing with elite athletes, and the nutritional strategy implemented alongside Yomif Kejelcha during his attempt to break the two-hour marathon barrier.
While glucose and fructose are absorbed through their own transport pathways, lactate follows an independent route via MCT (Monocarboxylate Transporters). This provides an additional metabolic pathway within the same fueling strategy.
Once absorbed, lactate is used as a fuel source, but it also acts as a physiological signal that informs the body that exercise intensity is increasing. This helps trigger the body’s natural performance-related responses, activating the mechanisms involved in adapting to high-intensity exercise.
That’s why LACTATE 60 is designed not only to provide energy, but also to help the body continue managing and utilizing that energy as intensity increases.
LACTATE 60 has been developed for running, trail running, cycling and triathlon. A completely liquid texture, 40 g of highly available carbohydrates and 60 millimoles of lactate in a single gel, designed to integrate seamlessly into advanced fueling strategies for prolonged, high-intensity endurance efforts.
Because carbohydrates were only the beginning.
Activation time: 7–10 minutes.
Directions for use:
High intensity (less than 3 hours): Take one gel immediately after your warm-up. If the effort lasts longer than 1 hour, take one additional gel every 40 minutes.
Long duration (more than 3 hours): Follow the recommendations shown in the fueling table.
